Structural Editing - online
A three-week online course covering the three levels of editing: paragraph, sentence and word.

Punctuation - setting the scene, senses, narrative voice, organisation, design by subtraction.
Week 2: Sentence
Grammar - power of verbs, lists with twists, inverted sentences, active and passive voice.
Week 3: Word
Vocabulary – meaning, choices, imagery, implications, effect on the reader, writer’s ideas.
